2.1
Serious Roleplay Standard: Maintain high-quality, realistic, immersive roleplay at all times. Remain In-Character continuously while on the server. Breaking character disrupts immersion and is not permitted except in genuine emergency or authorised OOC breaks.
2.2
Realism Principle: All actions must reflect real-world capability, behaviour, and limitations. Act reasonably, proportionately, and within realistic physical, operational, and legal boundaries.
2.3
Character Consistency: Maintain a consistent, believable persona. Define your character's background, motivations, abilities, and limitations. Do not alter character traits, skills, or history solely to gain advantage or escape consequences.
2.4
Continuous Narrative: Roleplay is a continuous story. Events, relationships, injuries, reputations, and consequences persist. Do not ignore, reset, or pretend prior events did not occur.
2.5
Equal Opportunity: Allow others to roleplay. Give persons reasonable time to understand, respond, and act. Do not rush, suppress, dominate, or otherwise deny others the opportunity to participate.
2.6
Accept Consequences: Every action has consequences. Accept the outcomes of your roleplay — including arrest, fines, detention, injury, financial loss, and character death — without complaint, retaliation, or avoidance.
2.7
Separation of IC & OOC: In-Character (IC) and Out-of-Character (OOC) matters must be kept strictly separate. Do not let OOC feelings influence IC actions. Do not use OOC knowledge In-Character. Do not bring IC conflict into OOC environments.
2.8
Reasonable Escalation: Respond proportionately. Begin with the least severe response appropriate to the situation. Escalate only when reasonably justified, necessary, and de-escalation has failed.
2.9
Quality of Speech & Action: Speak and act appropriately to your character. Avoid excessive repetition, nonsensical speech, or behaviour that breaks immersion. Communicate clearly and realistically.
2.10
Continuous Presence: If you must leave during active roleplay, roleplay a realistic reason for departure and obtain consent or notify those involved. Do not vanish mid-scene without explanation. Returning requires reasonable narrative justification.
